Semester at Sea

Semester at Sea
Charlottesville, INTL

“Semester at Sea provides study abroad opportunities for the exploration and study of many of the people, places and cultures around the world.

Our primary focus is our Undergraduate study abroad Program, which is available to students seeking their first bachelor degree at any accredited college or university.

Our Engineering Cohort now makes it possible for students in undergraduate engineering programs to enjoy the study abroad experience during our unique summer semester program.

Our Lifelong Learning program invites non-student and senior travelers who are interested in the Semester at Sea adventure.

Our Summer Teachers at Sea program is available for certified K-12 teachers who wish to acquire continuing professional education credits while being a part of the Semester at Sea adventure. Those enrolled will earn six graduate credits through the University of Nevada Reno.

K-12 teachers are also invited to participate in the Semester at Sea Vicarious Voyage program as part of their efforts to teach students about the world in which we live.

Students currently enrolled in High School are encouraged to plan for study abroad while they are choosing their college or university.”
